Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Otolaryngology, is seeking applications for two-fellowship trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join the department at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The Department of Otolaryngology currently employs two Board certified, fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologists covering all aspects of Pediatric Otolaryngology.
Position Requirements:
Board certification/eligible MD or DO in Otolaryngology/HNS. California Medical License or eligible for CA Medical License. Eligible to work within the United States. Completion of Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship prior to commencement of position We are a very busy practice with 21 physicians and 7 Advance Practice providers on staff and a total of 19 ENT residents in training. The Pediatric ENT and Audiology office is conveniently located within one mile of our main campus. The Pediatric ENT team sees patients at satellite clinics as well.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $240,000 – $280,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. Pediatric Otolaryngologist - University of Iowa
THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA DEPARTMENT OF OTOLARYNGOLOGY – HEAD AND NECK SURGEY is seeking applications for a Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our busy tertiary care practice. We are nationally ranked by US News & World Report as the 14th Best Hospital for Ear, Nose, and Throat specialty. The position involves clinical service, research opportunities, and resident and fellow teaching. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA seeks applicants for a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level to join our growing and dynamic academic faculty. Academic appointments will be commensurate with experience.
The health system includes several busy neonatal intensive care units, pediatric intensive care units, outpatient clinics, surgery centers and operating room facilities. There is opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary clinics, including craniofacial, aerodigestive, and vascular anomalies, as well as hospital-based pediatric programs. The UCLA Health System and UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital have a tertiary/quaternary presence and provide a diverse experience, with the full breadth of pediatric otolaryngologic care, with a special interest in building an internationally acclaimed Pediatric Clinical Program.
Qualified candidates must hold an M.D. degree or equivalent, be board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology, and have or be eligible for a California medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, and completed an accredited fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching and clinical, translational and/or basic science research.
The successful candidate will be fully engaged in providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered care. Primary duties and interest involve development of a research program, applying for extramural funding and teaching and clinical duties. The individual should be enthusiastic about engaging in academically productive scientific inquiry, educating medical students, residents, and fellows, serving the university community, and augmenting one of the nation's leading departments. The candidate may also be expected to perform clinical duties at one of our satellite facilities.

The NYU Langone Health Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery seeks a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist to serve as Division Chief, Pediatric Otolaryngology at rank will be commensurate with academic level.
Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone, completed in 2018, is a state-of-the-art children's hospital providing world class care as part of NYU Langone Health. Additionally, NYU Langone Health has expanded into Brooklyn at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital and Long Island at NYU Langone Long Island Hospital.
The division of pediatric otolaryngology at NYU Langone Health engages in all subspecialty care within pediatric otolaryngology including general pediatric otolaryngology, airway, sinus, otology, voice, craniofacial and multispecialty care.
Division Chief Responsibilities:
Education and Mentoring:
• Direct the bi-yearly didactic resident education schedule • Participate in the yearly resident interview and selection process • Coordinate departmental meetings, grand rounds, conferences • Develop CME courses related to the division activities • Promote the academic mission of the division through facilitation of academic development of faculty and trainees
Clinical Care: • Manage the clinical schedule and workflow at the affiliate hospitals, clinics and operating theatres • Review the PSQI divisional data and participate in the process • Review the division finances/clinical productivity and address issues with the Chair and others as designated by the Department Chair
Research: • Review and encourage research activities in the division and plan for representation at National and International conferences • Identify and engage in recruitment of research faculty • Assist in the development of a research enterprise, supported by extramural grant funding
Administrative: • Represent the department on institutional projects and initiatives that are appropriate or assigned/requested by the Department Chair • Organize periodic divisional meetings with an agenda that covers clinical care, research and education; submit minutes after these meetings • Identify and manage conflicts within the division and actively support faculty collaboration on division initiatives • Engage in the recruitment and long- range planning of the division • Submit yearly SWOT analysis for the chair to use for resource acquisition • Liaise with Clinical, Academic and Research vice chairs on issues related to the division
General Responsibilities of Faculty in the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology: • Teach and train residents and students including the supervision of one fellow each year in complex pediatric otolaryngology. • Provide patient evaluation and management and surgical care at designated locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island and Bellevue hospital. • Participate in divisional on-call and consult coverage responsibilities at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital in Manhattan, Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, NYU Langone - Brooklyn, and NYU Winthrop in Long Island.

Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida is seeking applicants who wish to pursue an academic career in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, with a multi-mission track. The candidate will provide and direct clinical care for children with full range of pediatric otolaryngology services, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings with APP and resident support. The successful applicant will join a busy academic practice with 15 faculty, 3 of which are pediatric fellowship-trained physicians. Tenure status and academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
Developing a subspecialty niche depending on the physician's interests will be encouraged. Airway reconstruction surgery, treatment of vascular malformations, hearing loss and/or a cochlear implantation, craniofacial surgery are all potential areas of development given a physician's defined interest. Leadership opportunities in clinical care, education and research may be available depending on interest and experience of the candidate.
This is a full academic position. The candidate will also be responsible for teaching residents and medical students assigned to the inpatient and outpatient services. The desired candidate should possess a strong commitment to both clinical practice as well as resident teaching. The department currently has a full complement of 15 residents. Ample research opportunities in multidisciplinary groups are available. Our department currently has both NIH and industry sponsored research funding.
Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology or significant comparable clinical experience is desired. This has led to the need for continued expansion of our team. In addition to clinical care, the successful applicant will also have the opportunity to advance the field with clinical or basic science research endeavors and to help guide the education of the next generation of providers with teaching opportunities involving residents and medical students from three local institutions. We are the pediatric arm for the Mayo Clinic Arizona Otolaryngology Residency program and we have academic affiliations with Mayo Clinic Medical School, University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Creighton University Medical School.

The Division of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UW SMPH) is recruiting an exceptional board-certified or board-eligible a Pediatric Otolaryngologist. Pediatric Otolaryngology faculty participate in UW Health supported multi-disciplinary clinics including Craniofacial Abnormalities Clinic (CFAC), Pediatric Aerodigestive Clinics Team (PACT), Pediatric Tracheostomy Clinic, and Birthmarks and Vascular Anomalies Clinic. Dedicated pediatric audiologists and speech-language-voice pathologists.
The Division of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery has 31 faculty members who provide clinical expertise in head & neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, otology-neurotology-lateral skull base surgery, comprehensive otolaryngology, laryngology, rhinology-skull base surgery, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery across the UW Health hospital system.
Education within the division includes a commitment to medical student education, an ACGME accredited residency program of 15 residents, and fellowships in Head & Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery and Laryngology.
The Division currently has 29 active extramural grants with a total budget of over $25 million, as well as collaborations with related programs across the University of Wisconsin campus such as the Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR), the Waisman Center, and through the Head & Neck Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) funding.
