The mother of a 13 year old white male with cerebral palsy complains of noisy breathing and a change in his voice. She took him to an Emergency Room elsewhere, where she was told that no intervention was indicated, but to return if his symptoms persisted. She was not satisfied with this management and sought further evaluation. During our examination, he was noted to have a hoarse voice.
