Pediatric Otolaryngologist – Nemours Children’s Clinic, Orlando, FL
Position:

Pediatric Otolaryngologist needed to join a well-established practice in Orlando.

Our busy Pediatric Otolaryngology Division is seeking a new team member. This is an outstanding opportunity to move into a ready patient base within a well-established Pediatric Otolaryngology-only department.

Practice call is one week in three, and there is currently no ER call. Our department services include endoscopic neck surgery, sinuplasty surgery, cochlear implants and otology. Our Division of Audiology provides full-range audiology services on site.

A clinical interest in head and neck surgery or airway issues is preferred. Physician candidates must have completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship, or have ten or more years in practice with a concentration in Pediatric ENT.

Coming to Orlando by 2012: Nemours Children’s Hospital and Health Campus

All the extensive services offered, research conducted and education provided at the Nemours Children’s Clinic in Orlando will be increased when the health organization opens its doors to the new Nemours Children’s Hospital in the Lake Nona medical city in 2012. Serving as a hub, the 95-bed Nemours Children’s Hospital (NCH) will be part of a 60-acre, fully integrated health campus for Central Florida. The hospital campus will also benefit by being located in close proximity to the UCF College of Medicine, Burnham Institute for Medical Research, and the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The Nemours Children’s Hospital will improve pediatric care through coordinated patient-centered medical services, making access for families significantly less challenging. The hospital will also bring comprehensive children’s health care and research capabilities to the forefront of the emerging health and science sector of Central Florida.
